Windows 10 upgrade to build 10576

I am running windows 10 build 10240 on a Dell laptop. Activation is OK. I have insider preview
turned off.
Is there a way to upgrade the build on this PC?

Turn on the Insider Preview section and join if you haven't already. You'll also need to activate the fast ring as they usually come down that path or at least the very latest builds do anyway.

I under stand how to get Windows 10 updates through the insider preview process.

My question is, can the updates be obtained via a process that does not use
the insider preview process.

A Google search showed using the command wuauclt.exe/updatenow which I
tried but nothing happens.

I think that command will also need to the insider stuff switched on too. If there is a way to get upgrades other than the usual way i'm unsure. I guess if you had a friend who'd made an iso from one then perhaps but otherwise I'm unsure as I said.
