Windows 10 USB 3.0 ports not working

I upgraded in-place from Win7 to Win10, and now my computer will only recognize devices that are plugged in to the USB 2.0 ports.

I already tried going into Device Manager, uninstalling the drivers under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers," and restarting.

I'm using a Sager NP8130 laptop.

Most likely you need to find the chip set drivers for your motherboard or USB card. You may have to use Windows 8 / 8.1 drivers for now.
