I have a laptop DV6500us (w/ 7150m / 630m) but I am having issues installing the proper NVIDIA drivers. I get the "No AGEIA PhysX" message from the NVIDIA control panel. Has anyone else found any drivers? How would I go about fixing this? It seems I downloaded 1 driver but I might need (2) 1 for the chip and 1 for the software.

Pointvcente,

What graphics chip is in your laptop? Do you have any other specs on your configuration?

It's an integrated card. I have a dual boot with XP 32bit (win 7 64-bit is the problem). Here is some of the configuration from the successfull XP 32-bit dxdiag command (below). I tried windows 7 updates and checked the nvidia driver update but upon restart the system hung at the "startup" screen. I might have to reinstall windows 7 again i'm won't be sure until I get home to check the laptop.

My bad I didn't list the specs of my system. I have a HP DV6500us laptop 64-bit AMD chip so I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Pro. I also have the dual boot of XP running 32-bit as a backup with full NVIDIA 3d support.

Here the full specs: Link Removed - Invalid URL

I've tried the 64-bit NVIDIA beta drivers 179.48 but it gives me the "No AGEIA PhysX" problem with no 3D acceleration. Hope I can get it booted tonight because this morning it crashed on windows update reboot. Otherwise I'll have to reinstall and wait for proper drivers. I figured someone else also has this laptop to help out.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's the original driver that gave me the "No AGEIA PhysX" problem listed above. So I'm still looking for a solution. HP has not released the drivers for the laptop for Windows 7 yet (only the wireless drivers so far).

hey thanks for the quickness of these replies, i have basically the same computer so the stats apply to me as well. and i'd love any feedback on the status of these drivers.

cheers :)

Everything seems to be working ok. Just that initial boot hang but thats it I guess. I'll post more if my CAD programs don't work but advanced nvidia settings looked ok. The "generic monitor" seems too bright though.
