Windows 7 Virus, Malware what is it?

Hey guys so I've been having this problem where, every week or two this virus comes back it changes the date and time, and the notifications bar is crazy Ill show screenshots, as for the time and date I fixed it and if I don't fix it it shows me SSL errors etc, and the date is setback 2011 January 1st

Pleasee Help me fix it its been a pain in the butt :/ usually by running AVG or ANTI-malwarebytes fixes it but AVG said theres only 1 threat and malwarebytes says there was notihing but I think this bug is messing with both of them this time because they never scan quick i made sure they both were system scans.

Agree with both answers above. An ever increasing problem is, installed freeware comes with attachments, and it's not that easy to notice what the whole package is. And, it's not only freeware related, paid for software also carry extras with them. Installing becomes more and more responsible.

I would suggest one of the basic methods: go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery > Open System Restore, and pick a point / date you think is before problems appeared. In System Restore you may not see more than one, but you have the option to "Show more restore points", as well as "Scan for affected programs".

Finally, if you don't find anything with antivirus / malware scanners, it's probably because you have installed something...

Well from the looks of your screen shot, you have a lot of questionable software downloads, not that there is any thing wrong with them, just that they might have some serious intruders with the downloads.

With your AV and Malwarebytes scans, run these as well.....all are free.

Hmm thanks, but you see I didn't download that many, well I do have quite a bit of softwares/apps but my notifcations bar is not that big lol..

I agree with Bass.
That thing that says "More Great Games" looks like a download manager for your games which could be the gateway for malware in your PC. Free games are not free, They come with "something" in the package.

If you ask for help, try your best to listen to some advice here. We don't know exactly what the problem is, but we can narrow it down by starting with the basics.

Hmm thanks guys, Im going to remove suspicous programs I suspect, then Ill scan my computer once more with AVG and Malwarebytes. Once I do I'll tell you my results, but right now my problem is fixed its really weird for a few hours the problem is there then it goes, but comes back again.

Try to stay away from download managers Download managers always connect your PC online making you an easy target for malware/virus attacks. Make sure to create a restore points before installing anything. Specially FREE games. Just so you can easily fix your PC in case something went wrong after installation.

Hmm okay, I also had toolbars etc and I knew they were like malicous and stuff it was just not possible to remove but adware let me remove all the crappy stuff like that

The easier it comes and the more automatic it comes, the less consumers / users pay attention to it, we have a tendency to trust...

I'm not saying "trust no one", nor am I saying "trust me", but alertness is a good quality.

I recall, The fact that you are paranoid doesn't mean no one is after you.

Well the same crap is back unfortunately :/ even after AVG, Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and Adwarwe cleaner UGHH!! I didn't remove all unused/suspicous programs yet but i have removed some so what do we do at this point

remove the suspicious software....check all of your browsers for any extensions/plugins/toolbars....and get rid of them all.

If those are free programs, you have nothing to lose. Just try and remove them. If your PC got fixed then dont get them back anymore. If there is no improvement, you can always get them back. At this point you have to narrow down first the possible source of your problem. And I think we all agree here that it is because of your downloading spree.

True im working on removing programs and as for extenstions, they are popular extenisons pretty sure they are harmless (Adblock and Hola plus)
