Hi
I've had Belarc Advisor on my computer for years, but in Windows 10 I'm having a strange problem.
When I open it, it opens in Openoffice Writer instead of my browser?
It' supposed to open in you browser by default.
I have looked for some place to tell it what I want the default program to display the page.
This is a problem because since it's set up as a web page, it's very hard to read in Writer.
Anyone have any ideas how I can direct this to open in the normal manner.
I removed it using Revo, and reinstalled it and I still have the same problem?
There doesn't seem to be a Belarc forum anyplace and searching for this problem didn't turn up anything.
Mike

Need Open With installed in your computer.
If you have it......
C\Program Files\Belarc\System\tmp\
right click at your computer name > click Open With > pick your browser.
That works ?
Editing............ Pre-emptive strike : before bassfisher asks me....... ha ha ha ha
Yes, I have tried it on my build 9860 and Open With offers several options, one of which is Internet Explorer. (I have only one Browser.)

Hi
Thanks Dave, that worked!!!
I tried to do this in the normal way and as you say there was no Open With options.
It offered both IE and Chrome.
I selected Chrome.
Things like that drive me crazy, now I can sleep peacefully. LOL
I can't tell you how many times I have screwed up my computer trying to fix some minor issue that I should have just ignored.
Everytime I say I'll never do that again, but I always do.
