Windows 7 What happened to the date bove the clock

When I first installed Windows 7 I saw the date above my little clock on the bottom right but after installing a load of updates the date is no longer visible there. I now need to click the time to see the date.

Is there a way to get this date visibillity back?

welcome to the forums super easy to fix you can right click on the taskbar uncheck lock taskbar then move cursor till it changes to vertical arrows then make the taskbar bigger or you can also right click taskbar go to properties and make sure that use small icons is unchecked either one of these methods should work
