Hello there, folks!
Been running build 7600 of Windows 7 for a while and it kind of crapped out on me last night. Here are all the problems that started last night

It wont shut down ( sat on "Shutting down..." screen for 12 hours today)
The Notification Area only loads a couple of icons, no Wifi and the battery usually shows as empty even though it is full
iTunes wont start
I can't uninstall any programs (it just says "Preparing to remove," or "gathering info" forever
Right clicking on the desktop causes Windows Explorer to freeze

Well, that is all the problems I can find ATM. Been runnig 7 since the beta with no problems and I don't know why this happened all of a sudden.
Tips?

Program Uninstallation Issue: - The inability to uninstall programs could be due to corrupted system files or conflicting software. 5. Windows Explorer Freezing: - Windows Explorer freezing when you right-click on the desktop could be caused by a shell extension conflict or a corrupt file affecting Explorer's functionality. Given the multiple problems you're facing, here are some general tips to try and resolve these issues: 1. Run System File Checker (SFC) Tool: - Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command: sfc /scannow - This will scan and repair corrupted system files. 2. Check for Windows Updates: - Make sure your system is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates. Updates can fix bugs and improve system stability. 3. Check for Malware: - Run a full antivirus scan to check for any malware that might be causing these issues. 4. Clean Boot: - Perform a clean boot to identify if any third-party software is causing conflicts. 5. Check Device Manager: - Ensure all your device drivers are up to date in Device Manager. 6. Safe Mode: - Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issues persist. If they don't, it could indicate a software conflict. If these steps do not resolve the issues, you may need to consider more advanced troubleshooting steps or seek further assistance from a tech support professional. It's also worth considering upgrading to a more recent version of Windows, as Windows 7 has reached its end of support. Let me know if you need more specific guidance on any of these steps!
