It might be time to move on but a lot of businesses have expensive custom software and hardware often not supported in Windows 7 and 8. Since they have to make patches for the huge number of PCs the feds use any they sold to other people would be free money since the US taxpayer would be footing the bill for developing the patches. I edited my network settings in my VMs to allow network access but not internet access.
