Windows 7 win 7 64 bsod - corrupted font?

And as a side note, when you finally discover that your cd/dvd drive does not work any longer, please let us know. It's very easy to fix. :)
 
regarding cd/dvd:
yup, sure enough - you're right! I've had this problem before and did the UpperFilters and LowerFilters thing so it's working

c.jpgb.jpgRegarding BIOS, it's a HP Pavilion Elite e9180t which seemingly has a limited BIOS from what I can see. But I'm sure I could be missing something obvious.
