Guys, I have big issues with Windows Explorer Popups. They come every few seconds. Just regular Windows Explorer and it opens my Library Folder.

I ran Virus Scan and everything came out clean.

Have any of you experienced the same problem?
Any help is highly appreciated.

Could you explain that problem in a little more detail? Do you mean when you open Windows exporer, it opens in Libraries?. If not, what is the popup?

Thank you, no I do not open Windows Explorer.
Windows Explorer opens by itself. As soon as I boot the computer and Windows Explorer (not IE) starts popping up all over the place. Every 20 to 30 seconds opens new Windows Explorer by itself.

I rescanned the system with AVG, still no viruses or what so ever where found.

Will booting from Windows 7 DVD and repairing the installation fix any problems without losing installed programs or data?

Thank you, for helping me.

First open Msconfig in the Start. Look under the strtup tab and see if you have anything called Windows explorer running there. If so , untick it. But I am not optimistic that it will solve you problem.
Your question. Repairing will not destroy your private data or programs.

Thank you RAK, there is no Windows Explorer running under Start in MSconfig...
I guess I will give a shot with Windows 7 repair... Do not see any other options.

Thank you for the help

Thank you 'ickyman', but I already reinstalled Windows.

Hopefully there won't be next time, but if it happens, I will try the suggestion.

Kind regards
