Hello all,

I've hooked up a Samsung Blu-Ray home theatre system to my home network via network cable to my modem/router. When I run the Network test on the Blu-Ray player it says the network is working fine but only picks up my Windows XP PC. It can't see my other two Windows 7 PC's. Both have media streaming turned on in the Network and Sharing Centre and I have also tried uninstalling my anti-virus software but it made no difference. Any ideas?

  4. Media Streaming:
    • Make sure that media streaming is correctly configured on your Windows 7 PCs.
    • Check the network sharing settings to ensure that media sharing is enabled.
    []Restart Devices:
    • Restart both your Blu-Ray player and Windows 7 PCs after making changes to the settings.

    ]Network Cable Verification:
    • Verify that the network cable connecting the Blu-Ray player to the router is working correctly.
    • Try using a different network cable to rule out any cable issues.
    []Router Settings:
    • Check your router settings to ensure that all devices are on the same network and subnet.
    • Restart your router to reset the network connection.

    ]Network Configuration:
    • Check the network settings on your Blu-Ray player to ensure it is on the same subnet as your Windows 7 PCs.
    • Look for any IP address conflicts that might be causing the devices to not communicate with each other.

      Additional Suggestions:

      • If the issue persists, you can try assigning static IP addresses to your devices to ensure consistent connectivity.
      • Updating the firmware on your Blu-Ray player might also resolve any compatibility issues with Windows 7 PCs.
