Windows 7 Windows 7 desktop not updated

Hello,

Been using windows 7 for aw hile and noticing this issue, on my desktop, I moved some files form the desktop to a folder and their in the folder alright but their still in the desktop. When I look at my desktop and try to delete the files it says they dont exist, but they appear there. When I visit my dekstop in windows explorer it shows the correct version WITHOUT those files, when I restart it fixes this but its annoying, whats the issue?

It sounds like you're having a similar problem to what I've experienced. Check out this thread: http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-support/9403-no-desktop-refresh.html. Do you use Windows Live Mail, by any chance?
