Windows 7 Windows 7 error0xc000007b

I boooted up Windows 7 today when I wanted to play a game...I had been using LinuxMint for a week now. When I log in, atbroker and explorer.exe terminate and give error 0xc000007b...nothing starts, and I get a black desktop. Safe mode does not work. I have a home server, but restoring would wipe my linux...would it?
Please help, I have lots of stuff on that OS.

Update: Scanning with ClamAv on linux now

With your 7 DVD in your drive, open up command prompt and type :

sfc /scannow

From recovery disk? as I cannot do anything to my computer...Super+R doesn't bring up the Run dialog so I can't start Command Prompt.
I'll try the CD while I wait for a reply

I forgot to try the safe mode with command prompt, which worked!
I ran sfc /scannow and it works like a charm
