Windows 7 windows 7 explorer.exe not responding frequently!!!

every time i press folders or press the start menu or anything related to explorer.exe,, the explorer goes: explorer is not responding, then it restarts!
what is wrong with it, i had tried sfc/scannow, it says no problem with the system.

can anyone help me!???

is there a way to extend the programs waiting time like when the program starts to not respond?

Are you using the x64 bit version of Win 7?

There are several threads about this problem in Win 7 and Vista. I do not remember seeing a solution, but something is causing explorer not to be able to display something it needs to.

Have you tried changing your video settings, or turning off Aero to check? Maybe change colors or background, or almost anything related to what is on your screen.
