I just bought an Acer Aspire 7741z-5731 with Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, Intel Pentium P6000, 3gb RAM, 250gb HD. I setup windows and began to customize through the control panel when the control panel went "non-responsive" and a few seconds later the entire system went non-responsive. I shut the computer down and restarted it. I went into Internet Explorer and browsed for about 10 minutes and it went non-responsive and the entire system went non-responsive shortly after. Every time I log on and start to do something in any program the program goes non-responisve and the entire system goes non-responsive shortly after and remains as such until I shut it down. I've given it up to half an hour to start responding each occurence but it does not. Is there anyway to resolve this issue?

If you are still able to, go back to the store you purchased the comp from and exchange it for another one.. ;) It's not worth messing around with if it's still within the return/exchange policy.. ;)
