Hi! My father's computer been broken and he thought it was a virus attack. The problem is that it won't boot even though I tried all the choices (safe mode, boot from last good configuration,etc.). None of them worked. It kept repeating and repeating.

It's an upgraded version from Windows XP (to Windows 7).
Error code: 0xc0000039
Missing driver: win32/drivers/joyar.sys

What are the reasons that it happen?
How do I fix it?
Is only the solution to fix it is through its installation disk(repair) or by reformat?
