Windows 7 Windows 7 shuts down on it's own - Event Viewer info.

Hi, Windows 7 (32 bit) shut down and restarted on it's own 2 days ago and then completely shut down on it's own when I stepped away from my laptop the next day and again last night while I was asleep. Sorry, I'm not a programmer and am not sure what info. you may need to analyze this situation but here is what was in the Event Viewer, the first day this happened, under Summary of Admin. Events:

Scan the machine with Malwarebytes, after updating definitions. Let it remove all it finds.

You have drivers that are causing issues with relation to power settings.

Highly recommend you remove Norton/Symantec with the tool found here, in safe mode:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

Reboot and install MSE to replace it.

Then uninstall all of your Arcsoft software in order to remove this driver giving troubles:

Visit Sony's site for your model to download and install the latest Sony Firmware Extension Parser driver:

Do you have any recent Crash Dumps .dmp in C:\Windows\Minidump? If you do, attach them please.

Copy the files in the folder that Cybercore mentioned to any other folder. Then zip them and attach the zip to a post. We will analyze them for you, since it is not easily done by people without experience.

We'll show you what's needed to be done, based on the crash dumps and our findings.

Sorry, it took so long. Here's the minidump file.

FYI - I recently had a virus removed from my laptop and then shortly afterward went onto a website and received a message from Microsoft that said worm detected ... I deleted a new photo I found in my documents and uninstalled and reinstalled all my programs ... but when I went to copy the minidump file for you to analyze, I found another weird filed in my (C. I don't know anything about viruses, worms, trojan horses etc.

* In other words I hope the file is not infected. Just in case, sorry, ahead of time. *
