    []Network Troubleshooting:
    • Run network diagnostic tools on both PCs to check for any network issues or errors.
    • Ensure that both PCs can ping each other without packet loss.
    [
    ]Update Network Drivers:
    • Update the network drivers on both PCs to the latest versions.
    • Check for any known network driver issues specific to the network adapters on PC1 and PC2.
    []Test with Different File Types:
    • Test with different file types and sizes to see if the freezing issue occurs consistently with all downloads.
    [
    ]Consider Network Hardware:
    • Check the network switch for any issues and try using different ports.
    • Swap the network cables to rule out any cable-related problems.
  2. Restart and Reconnect:
    • Restart both PCs and the network switch.
    • Reconnect the network cables to ensure they are securely plugged in.

      Additional Suggestions:

      • If the issue persists, try creating a new shared folder on PC1 and test file downloads from PC2.
      • You may also consider using third-party file-sharing software as an alternative if the built-in Windows file sharing continues to cause problems.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify the root cause of the freezing issue when downloading files between PC1 and PC2 and work towards resolving it. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions!
