If you aren't already aware of it you can use "Imagburn" to make a bootable DVD from the ISO file.

Hello.
Yesterday night when i came home from work, i turn on my laptop with windows 8.1 and its started loading "pc repair", after it finished i get a message saying it could not repair automaticly.
So i have tried advanced-restore point, it just failed.

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem. PC started, login screen appeared. I left the room. When I came back PC was in repair mode. No option works. Exact same behavior as you. There must be a general issue with this.

I too am in my mid 70's and had several bouts with cancer losing a few organs. I still fight the good fight with pcs and new "stuff".

I use Macrium and it has saved my bacon on many occasions with no failures.

**I hope someone can jump in and help the person who began this thread..

Are you saying the pc will not start? Do you have any disc you can boot to?
