I don't know if this went away in Vista, but in XP you could customize the tool bar and add buttons for delete, copy, undo etc. Without these it takes an extra mouse click to do any of these functions. If it is available in Win 7 WE I have not been able to find it. Any help?

In Windows 7, you can customize the toolbar in Windows Explorer (WE) to add buttons for common functions like delete, copy, and undo. Here's how you can do it: 1. Open Windows Explorer: - One way to do this is to press Windows key + E on your keyboard. 2. Customize Toolbar: - Right-click on an empty area of the toolbar at the top of the Windows Explorer window. - Select "Customize" from the context menu. 3. Add Buttons: - In the customize window, you can add buttons for various functions like Delete, Copy, and Undo. - Locate the desired buttons in the "Available toolbar buttons" list on the left. - To add a button, select it and click the "Add" button in the center. 4. Arrange Buttons: - Once added, you can also rearrange the buttons using the "Up" and "Down" buttons on the right. 5. Finish the Customization: - Click "OK" to apply the changes. After following these steps, you should see the newly added buttons on the toolbar in Windows Explorer, which will help you perform common functions more efficiently. Customizing the toolbar allows you to access frequently used functions with just a click, reducing the need for extra mouse clicks. Let me know if you need further assistance with this customization.
