Windows 7 Windows Explorer has stopped responding error

Hi
I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and sometimes when I right click on something, e.g My Computer i get and error " Windows Explorer has stopped responding" and then it restarts Explorer. Does anyone know why this is? I get the same problem on my laptop which has the same OS.
