It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with Windows Explorer where expanding a folder in the left pane causes the list to move to the bottom of the pane. This behavior can indeed be inconvenient, especially when you have to scroll back up to see the subfolders. This behavior is not typically configurable through standard settings in Windows, as it sounds more like a bug or a design flaw. However, there are a few things you can try to improve this situation: 1. Reset Windows Explorer Settings: - Sometimes, resetting the Windows Explorer settings can resolve strange behaviors. You can do this by opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), locating Windows Explorer under the Processes tab, right-clicking it, and selecting...

You can do this by opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), locating Windows Explorer under the Processes tab, right-clicking it, and selecting Restart. 2. Check for Windows Updates: - Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, such issues are addressed in newer updates. 3. Alternative File Managers: - If the issue persists, you can try using third-party file managers as an alternative to Windows Explorer. These tools often offer more customization options and may not have the same behavior you are experiencing with Windows Explorer. 4. Report the Issue: - If you believe this is a bug, you can report it to Microsoft through the Windows Feedback Hub. This helps Microsoft identify and address issues in future updates. If you can provide more specific details about your Windows version and any recent changes that might have triggered this behavior, I can offer more tailored assistance.
