Im using 64 bit home premium and it used to work fine till a month or two ago. The computer constantly refreshes ever 1 - 2 minutes, as a result whatever program im using at the time refreshes too. This stops me typing on Word, it causes whatever game i might be playing to crash to the taskbar, i cn longer watch full screen videos online as they too are minimized instantly. Anti virus scan comes up negative for malware and my nvidea 630M GPU has been updated with the latest driver so has my intel hd4000 graphics. I dont know wat else to do, please help me..

Solution
It sounds like you are experiencing a frustrating issue with your Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system where the computer keeps refreshing every 1-2 minutes, interrupting your work and causing programs to crash or minimize unexpectedly. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check for Malware: Even though your antivirus scan came up negative, it's still worth running a scan with a different reputable antivirus program or anti-malware tool. Sometimes, malware is more sophisticated and can evade detection by some security software. 2. Check for Background Processes: It's possible that a background process is causing the constant refreshing. Use Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to check for...

Sometimes, malware is more sophisticated and can evade detection by some security software. 2. Check for Background Processes: It's possible that a background process is causing the constant refreshing. Use Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to check for any unusual or resource-intensive processes running in the background. 3. Check for Scheduled Tasks: Sometimes, scheduled tasks or scripts can cause unexpected behavior. Check the Task Scheduler for any tasks that might be triggering the refresh. 4. Update Windows: Ensure that Windows is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Sometimes, system updates can resolve issues related to system instability. 5. Check System Files: Run a System File Checker scan to check for and repair corrupted system files. To do this, open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command sfc /scannow. 6. Check for Overheating: Overheating can cause system instability. Make sure your laptop is properly ventilated and not overheating during use. 7. Driver Rollback: If the issue started after a driver update, consider rolling back the drivers for your GPU or other components to a previous version to see if that resolves the problem. 8. Disable Unnecessary Startup Items: Disable unnecessary startup programs using Task Manager to see if any of them are causing the issue. 9. Check for Recent Software Changes: If the issue started after installing new software, try uninstalling it to see if that resolves the problem. 10. System Restore: If all else fails, consider performing a System Restore to revert your system to a point where the issue was not occurring. These steps should help you identify and resolve the issue causing your system to refresh constantly. If the problem persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
