Windows 8 Won't install update

I am having trouble installing the windows 8.1 KB3000850 update on a Toshiba L-50 A laptop, it is my son's and he doesn't use it very often. It has tried to install at least 10 times now and always comes back saying that it failed. Any info on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

If you can post your WindowsUpdate.log that would help. Should be in C:\Windows
