We upgraded Office Home and Student 2010 a month or so ago. It works fine on one account but Word freezes when trying to save a file on another account. The Excel works ok.
I have to restart to get out of it. I opened another account to see if it would work, it did. Any suggestions on how to get my account to work without losing anything?

Solution
Any number of third part add-ins or a corrupt global template can often cause the issues you are experiencing.
Try using the /a switch to launch Winword.exe and see if the problem persists.

Hi Becky,
try going to add and remove programs, clicking on Office and then instead of un-installing click repair instead.
Repair was not an option for this program.
