When I previously used Windows XP Home Edition, I could copy text from Internet articles and Email correspondence and paste it in my Works Word Processor files.

I now have Windows Vista Home Premium. Whenever I attempt to copy from Internet sources, paste it in a Works Word Processor file, the Works Word Processor file totally shuts down. I don’t believe anything else has changed.

The explanation is as follows:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: WksWP.exe
Application Version: 9.7.613.0
Application Timestamp: 466fad27
Fault Module Name: StackHash_e52f
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00000000
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: e52f
Additional Information 2: e98dfca8bcf81bc1740adb135579ad53
Additional Information 3: 860f

Why would this happen?
Is there a relatively "simple" patch fix?

Thanx

Microsoft Works version 9.0 It was part of the original set up that came with the new PC.

It looks like there is some updates which 'may' help... These can be found here:
