Hello guys! I'm new to this forum so hi all! And my first post is about RAM info and what to look for. Okay, so I pulled put the ram on my Acer Aspire 5750 Laptop, and I'll post the pic I took at the end of this post. It has 4 GB of RAM and it's 2x 2GB RAM sticks, and I just need the basics and what to look for because I'm looking to upgrade this to 8GB of RAM, 2x 4GB sticks! Thanks again!

My suggestion would be to go here http://www.crucial.com/
And use there automated system scanner.
It will advise you as to maximum memory and give you an idea as to available packages and pricing.
Use that information to shop on line at New Egg or Amazon and do some comparison shopping.
Max memory is what you need to concern yourself with to confirm that your laptop will support the upgrade.
