I have pinned the Amazon website to my task bar, and the big blue e...windows explorer icon is there. If clicked it does go to amazon, but...I would rather see the amazon logo. I have removed and readded it, but it again is showing up as e.

The 'e' is Internet Explorer. To pin specific websites to the taskbar, you need to update to Internet Explorer 9. You can do this, by going into Windows Update, which can be accomplished by clicking Start, All Programs and then Windows Update. If there is updates available, click 'Install Updates', if not, click 'Check for Updates' on the side and then 'Install Updates'

Restart your computer and then follow these instructions to pin a website to the taskbar:
Internet Explorer 9 - Pin and Unpin Websites to Taskbar or Start Menu - Windows 7 Forums (Follow Option 3)

Have you tried right clicking the icon in the address bar and dragging it to the TaskBar?
