I would like to place a jpg photo in the middle of my desktop and leave a plain background around it. What I have achieved is the photo (no background) and the photo is way too large for the screen. How do I do what I want? Thanks........

Solution
Play around with the "Fit" and "Center" settings. If the pic is too big, make it smaller with something like Image resizer (free) Link Removed and then it should fit. If you would like to change the background color, then after resizing the photo, load it into Windows Paint or any photo editor and give it a different background.
