About a month ago my Desktop icons began disappearing. It got to a point that over 90% of them were gone. I got them back by going into desktop and creating new shortcuts. Then one day they all reappeared. I had been shutting my computer down right after getting off it. Today I forgot to shut down and when I came back, They are gone again. WTF? Win 7 Ultimate.
