Thank you for your reply. As it turns out, my Windows password somehow got corrupted to the point where I couldn't even open Windows.
I followed the instructions to create a new password and they worked great.

Very sound advice, Well, I would also be wondering if there may be a virus corruption to the software, there's a few troubleshooting ideas that come to mind like, sometimes even rebooting the full system also may help sort out small niggles like these..try login to your microsoft account online, ensure the password is correct, then try on the store, otherwise use the settings in windows 10 to reset the store.
