Hello,

I saved my Outlook 2007 settings in my previous Win 7 Ultimate version and now have Win 7 Pro (as shown in http://praxistipps.chip.de/outlook-2007-konten-exportieren_13068 ). I wanted to import them, but now I get the message:

Can not import: Error acces to regestry

The saves reg seems to be fine, I exported the file like in the tutorial and its a *.reg file. However, opening in texteditor gave me one thing: The regestry editor version 5; while the Win7 Pro runs 6.1. But this should be incompatible at all I guess.

What can I do, do import my settings?

Solution
To import registry settings, you simply double click the reg file and click Yes to confirm the import. You have to import the settings as an administrator.
