Windows 10 Recycle Bin default view

All you should need to do is set the view once. It should remember it.

It remembers for a while, but then reverts back to it's default settings.

Can you remember if the reverting back coincides with any changes or scans you have made?

Yes, I run Advance System Care periodically.

Yup, as neemobeer suggests and the reason why i asked.. Certain scans can remove any settings you've made and it might be worth experimenting. Run the scan and then check your Recycle bin straight after.
