Hi

You would think that this would be easy to look up, but I found all kinds of answers mostly 1703 but I'm at 1709 so that can't be right.
Is 1709 the latest update?

Not including the insider previews 1709 is the current build.

Microsoft has different channels and servicing as well.

Semi-annual channel and Semi-annual channel (targeted)

The difference being targeted means qualified for the general user and regular semi-annual is corporate users.

Latest targeted build 1709 and latest non-targeted build is 1703.
