Upon installing windows 10, I reached my desktop to find all of my desktop shortcuts gone, and being unable to access any applications. When I open an application, it is displayed as being open in my toolbar, and I can mouse over it to see that it is open, but I am unable to interact with it due to it not displaying in the actual desktop area. Help?!?!

You may need to open C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Desktop, delete and recreate your shortcuts.
