win10 after the last update my sound is ok ,then when I switch to headphones it is working fine then it will not go back to the usb speakers until I reboot. it stays on headphones

yes they are .. and all was ok till yesterday last update

If it was me I'd try uninstalling and then re-installing the sound driver. If there's a later version then even better.
