Well, I don't want to uninstall them. Maybe a way to hide them. They must have a reason not to allow this. I find it terrible and terrifying that I can't remove them like on windows 7.
Doing updates while I'm online playing a game is what bugs me but if having icons for all your stuff is the worst thing that's happened to you since the upgrade to X, then congratulations.
