Partitioning the Hard Drive:​

• Format the partitions appropriately. The partition for the OS should be formatted as NTFS.
• You can allocate a different drive letter for each partition as needed.
• Complete Installation:
• Continue with the Windows installation process, selecting the partition you created for Windows 7.
• Install Windows 7 on the specified partition.

• For the Media Center power button to work correctly, you may need to configure it through the Control Panel or the settings provided by your laptop's manufacturer.
• Check the laptop's manual or the manufacturer's website for information on setting up the power button for Media Center.

Reinstalling Windows:​

• If you plan to do a clean install now:
• Boot from the Windows 7 installation disc.
• Follow the partitioning steps mentioned above to create partitions for both Windows and the Media Center.
