I have had a good few searches but my problem keywords seem to be a bit generic.
My issue is that I recently turned on my PC and the desktop had reverted back to the standard Windows 7 background with none of the desktop files. On further inspection I found out none of my files...
I'm an admin on a Windows 7 PRO 64 bit
Problem is I can't set an image for my wallpaper or I can't change my wallpaper
I did a sysprep on a ref machine and since reloading the image(with imagex) I can't change the background, it's black and there is no way to set an image as a background...

It's really such an easy fix...I just made a new admin account and the wallpaper can be changed again! Please for full details about the errors and the fix, go to the above link (my blog).

Computer starts but all that is showing is the background. No buttons, no start button or anything. I did a system restore,- windows repair with disk, and still nothing. I don't know what else to try. :confused:

hi all, i have been trying to change my background through attaching a jpg. picture, the picture only shows in the stretch mode, i tried to change it to the tile, middle, fit and all other modes but it just would get stuck to the stretch mode and nothing else, can anyone help me please.

Im running 7 Ultimate. When I initally saved a theme South Africa on to my desktop every few seconds the picture kept changing. Now it has stopped it stays on ONE picture. Unless I right click on it and click on next desktop background. How do I enable it to scroll by itself.

Hi, I'm looking for some background images that are of the same scenes but with slight changes in them to simulate movement. I'm wanting a similar effect as the "Dreamscapes" give you but I would adjust the slide show feature to change every minute or so. Any suggestions?
