My router is three years old.Recently it provides weak signal,I had to sit around router for connection. How can I boost it without replacing with a new one? My friend recommend a software: My WIFI Router, did you use this software?

I have installed and use Boost. I am wondering if it actually has a viable (positive) impact on my machine that will enhance my gaming experience. If someone knows or has a better solution/program, please mention it. Thanks/
