I've been having a problem which seems to be quite common among many Windows 7 users.
I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate and it's been fine for about 3 weeks. 3 days ago, it started shutting down on me randomly when i'm playing games. No BSODs, no warnings, nothing. It's as though the...

Hello,

I have activated wga when I try to download windows media player 11 (to see wga status; it says Genuine Microsoft Software).
But then it keeps me validate this over and over again (when restart).
At Control Panel...

However, if I right click it and save as it works fine.
Also, when I click the link and it doesn't prompt me it actually downloads as I can look in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Downloads and the files are there.
Any ideas what's going on with this? I've turned...

Hi ALl,
Searching the forum didn't turn up anything relevant, so here goes.

This isn't a huge issue, but it certainly is an annoying one. I set up a data partition which contains all of my music and common files. I clean installed the 32-bit version of RC 7100 on a separate partition, and the 64-bit version of RC7100 on yet another partition. Vista 64 remains on its own...

Hi,
I have an application, written by me, that's crashing in windows 7 (works in other Windows incarnations). Is there a way of telling Windows 7 to create a crash dump file when the crash happens? The only report I've seen so far is which module and address it fails at, but there's no content...

I'm running into a strange problem. I have a simple C# console app that calls an external web service referenced within my VS 2008 .NET solution. The web service is defined as a service reference, per the vendor. The service requires login credentials to be sent as part of the SOAP header...

I'm using Visual Basic Express and trying to store code, templates etc on a folder on Windows Home Server. It appears that a "//server/...." URL is 'not trusted' by vb.net. I don't seem to be able to access any of the quoted .NET Access/Security tools from Windows 7 beta. Any ideas?
