That’s one last question before I move on to Acronis True Image. I’ve been trying for at least a full day and I believe the last half of yesterday to sort out how to restore from a network “WINDOWSBACKUPIMAGE” I spelled it that way because that’s how Windows spells it when it creates it However...

I just purchased a new PC and have a problem with File History restoring multiple copies of files. I am using the same external hard drive I used with my old computer. I copied the files I needed from File History back to the hard drive of my new computer. I then turned file history on to...
I'm thoroughly sick of Windows 8.1's FileHistory failing to backup numerous videos in my user account's Videos folder. I turned it off, as it's useless. I've already started using Macrium Reflect free for system images, as that also fail's to complete in 8.1 due to the system reserved partition...

I never had a problem with image backup creation before with Win 8 using the utility Windows 7 File Recovery. I am aware that this utility is gone in Win 8.1 and the same utility is now under File History. I've tried using this new utility last night to create a backup image of Win 8.1 and it...

Thanks for any insight...
When i try to enable my windows history i keep getting the error message Could no Enable windows history Access Denied. I added the file error to the post as well.
