Hi all,
I just upgraded from Windows 10 32bits to 64. I used an external hard drive for that and of course, I didn't think about it, everything is gone. Some of it wasn't backed up, so I'd like to get the data back if possible, it'd mean the world to me. My little bit of hope is that my hard...

I have recently changed from a HDD to a SSD, I have applied a theme on my Windows 10, and I have updated to Fall Creators update. I cloned...

I have an old pc, which has Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 processor, 1GB DDR2 Ram, 500GB hdd, g31 motherboard.
Windows 7 32bit runs quite good on it.
If I add ram, and increase it to 3/4GB ram.
Will it run windows 10 64bit perfectly,
Or I'll have to use windows 10 32bit instead?
Not sure whats going on but for some dumb reason windows 10 is not recognizing my
3TB Hitachi UltraStar 7K3000 as a HDD
it insists its a SSD.
My 850 evo has to go back to samsung so they told me to clone the c: onto D: then change boot order.
Perfect sense, same as always so I do so and now not...

Is there a way to set 2 different sets of permissions for a single external HDD used on a windows 7 and a windows 10 computer so that the WIN 10 computer has full read write permissions but the WIN 7 can only read? The objective here is to reduce the chances of the WIN 10 computer, which needs...

Hi all,
I've got a 2TB hdd that I want to remove from the current machine, but I've noticed that there is a System Reserved partition on it. If I remove the HDD, the system will boot up normally? Or I'll have problems?

Since new my Samsung R540 laptop has had two partitions, C for programs and D for data. I decided to replace the (slow) HDD with a SSD, and in the cloning process somehow everything was put into one partition. Is there any advantage in having separate partitions for programs and data?
Situation: Secondary HDD contains previous installation's Windows folder which my current Win10 account cannot delete even as admin.
Solution: I'm assuming that I'd need to first take ownership then change the permissions to give full control.
However this is an old hard drive, and since my...
