I'm a former Systems Admin. so I should be able to figure this out, but nope... so I'm asking:
I bought a small, external 2.5 Toshiba HDD to use as additional storage. I put it in a case and plugged it in. No dice, I can't see it in Windows Explorer. I checked Device Manager, and it shows up as connected (obviously) and working properly, driver up to date etc, but no go in Explorer. I thought this might be a Windows 10 related issue, so I plugged it into a Linux machine, and no dice there either.
It shows up as "working properly" in Device Manager so it's obviously passing data, and it goes without saying that it's also powered up. What am I missing here?
Thanks in advance.
