I’m using W7 a lot now for testing. As a result, I am beginning to notice some issues with IE8. From time to time, it appears to go stale. Current open tabs still work, but trying to connect to a web using a new tab fails. Doesn’t matter what site. Opening a new IE8 session...
I keep getting an error when I start IE 8. It has done this since I installed W7 and even though I use Firefox I'd like to know what is causing the problem if anyone knows.

I'm running Win7 x64 and love it so far. However, I'm seeing some oddities when I browse using IE8.
For example: if I navigate to www.yahoo.com, it'll error out and not connect. If I hit refresh immediately, it still won't connect. If I wait a few mins then hit F5, it'll connect and run great...
Hi - can anyone help please?
I'm running Win 7 RC Build 7100. Generally IE8 will display all images on most websites with absolutely no problem, except when I do an Image search in either Google Images or Bing – the thumbnails will not display - I get placeholders followed by red...
I liked IE8 in Win7, so installed it in XP Pro. Had to remove it today as DigitalPersona finger print doesnt work in Ie8. So I installed Ie7 instead, which works fine. However it looks pretty much like IE8. What are major diffs here?

Any oneelse experiencing this?

I cannot play a link containing a .wma file. I get 'Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Webpage.' I can save the file and play it. I have IE8 installed in Vista and the link works. I do not have any other player installed. Any ideas?

Hi, I think this is the correct forum to post this and I will try to explain my issue as clearly as possible.
When running IE8 if you're on a site and you click a link that creates a pop up window, I cannot find a way to make this pop up window bigger or even full screen? For games especially...
I've tried many different beta builds of Windows 7 on my Dell Latitude D610 including and up to build 7229, but they all have the same problem. Everything works great except for the video driver that is downloaded through Windows Update.
The video card driver that is downloaded through...
I can't print from IE8 in the 64 bit versions of Windows 7 (up to and including build 7201) neither will Adobe Reader open display a .PDF file. If I try to look at page preview from within IE8 I just see a blank page with a path and filename at the bottom, neither of which can I find on my...
I've been using multiple browsers throughout my testing of Win 7, and and come to the conclusion that so many of you have; and that is IE 8 is a real piece of crap. It has gotten to the point where it just doesn't work. Unfortunately, I need Explorer to log onto my MS account to properly utilize...

Hi all,
I came to this forum in order to get a solution for my problem. As many know and some would know now, when the drivers are not available for Windows 7, the NIC will just return a APIPA i.e., 169.x.x.x IP. We all thought this is a driver issue, but how do we find whether it is a driver...

I am asking for suggestions. I had no issues at first but suddenly IE 8 refuses to open. I have tried safe mode, reset, and just about everything else I can think of. I really like 7 and was about to move everything across from dual boot XP when this happened.
Also I think my issue may be...
Anybody else feel the same? I use Firefox most of the time but a few things I need IE for. Is there a way to uninstall it and install 7? I'm sick of it freezing the system when it quits responding.
