I exported the data to .pst file on the windows XP and tried to read the file on the same outlook version on the windows 7 it behave as if it reads but nothing is imported into the new outlook.
Having backed up the Outlook Inbox, Sent Item, etc to pst files prior to the build of Windows 7 Home, I get this message when I try & import the data back into Outlook.
A Google search would indicate that this is a pretty common occurrence on other platforms as well but does anyone know why...

when I put a dvd in and try to import it through my video camera program I get an error message saying 'DVD drive in use by another program'.
I never used to get that error message when importing from my dvd player, and as far as I know the dvd drive is not in use by another program.
