Windows XP Recovering Windows XP After Missing System File Without Installation Disk
I was running xp, until the windows/system32/config/system was found missing. I do not have the windows disk, but I do have a Linux mint 16 disk. For some reason it won't let me boot from DVD, I stead just giving the error message.- AKPatriot

Linux Mint start up

How to stop?
I have several external Drives Thumb Drives plugged in at all times on my computer, about 8 of them.. Every time I boot into my version of mint the latest stable version.
