resize

Please help!! Everytime I turn my monitor back on the browser windows resizes and moves to the upper-left corner of my desktop. How can I make it stop doing that? This never happened before, it started about 10 days ago.

Trying to help a friend figure out why when she re-sizes her windows they don't stay. Seems like when you size a window and then close it it will open full size. All programs do this so it is baffling me. any thoughts on what to check?
