Hello to all! :)
So i'm having an issue setting up a dual monitor config under Windows 8 / Windows 10.
Basically i'm using a DELL 2414Q 4K monitor and a DELL 2515H 2560x1440 monitor and i'm not able to make them work well together.
If i increase the scalling to 200% to make the 4K work as it...
Are you build Visual Studio extensions? Will you do me a favor? Please consider your user's DPI.
My primary machine runs at 3K (2880x1620) and since my eyes are old, the DPI is at 200%. If you're not running a High DPI machine you may be wondering what's the problem? If you are, like Scott...

Almost, but not quite
If you still use a lot of desktop applications as I do, you know that some handle high DPI displays and the desktop scaling functionality in Windows 8+ better than others. To date, the worst offenders, by far, have been Adobe's creative apps, like Photoshop. But with this...
Hi, I have a 1680x1050 lg monitor.
Using nvidia custom resolution I can get 1920x1080
(haven't tried the possibly dangerous resolutions, yet)
The quality isn't important, but I only get a more or less 3% of extra content with 1920x1080
Can windows generate a for example, 2560x1600 output
to be...
Hi, there is a game that keeps resetting it's resolution to a higher setting than I want it, and I want it to maintain 1280x720 resolution, but in order to do that, I have to set my own computer's screen resolution itself to 1280x720.
I don't want to go back and forth changing my resolution...
I can't deal with ubber small font. windows 7 is a nightmare on that. My monitor is flatscreen and big (if that matters)
Anyways I have the DPI adjusted to a rate I can deal with, at least in regards to the internet, control panels and stuff like that.
My problem, my very very huge problem, is...

There's also all sorts of things in the Catalyst Control Center that I don't know if they should be checked off or not, such as "Enable GPU scaling, Enable ITC processing". Never heard of such things, but they were off at default so I'm leaving it that way for now.
What is the different between...
I recently bought an Asus Zenbook Prime UX32VD which features a 13" 1920x1080 screen.
Now by default it sets the scaling to 125% which is fine for windows, but programs such as Steam, Pokki, Firefox, Chrome, and others do not scale very well at all and neither do websites so everything ends up...
I have a problem with my monitor , Ihave LG Flatron W2043C and Intel G31 Chipset, My monitor's manual says default resolution is 1600x900 but but I cant see this resolution in my list. I only have 1600x1200 ,1400x1050 ,1280x1024 ,1024x768 .But when I trying to use 1600x1200 or 1400x1050 , it...

My problem lies in the fact that I can only be fullscreen with my monitor when it's in the native resolution(1680x1050). If I lower the resolution, the image actually crops to keep it's true value instead of being in fullscreen. The weird thing though, is that I use a VGA cable, so I don't have...
I have an Acer TM8572G with Nvidia screen manager and is using an external LG W2443T monitor as primary monitor on an extended screen setup. The monitor is attached via ordinary VGA socket to the laptop.
It has happened a few times that the LG monitor scales itself to about 15% wider than the...
Microsoft's next desktop platform, Windows 8, is expected to take some interface cues from Windows Phone 7. Will something that works well on a tiny screen scale up to a larger monitor?

I'm going mad here trying to solve this one. I'm new to Windows 7. I've just installed it 3 weeks ago, and I'm still in the process of installing all my software and small mini-games (shooters, arkanoid-type stuff, bejeweled, etc). I've had virtually no trouble getting my applications to run...

Hello, Is there a way to make Windows 7 text larger without skewing the size of my other programs? I would like to go higher with my DPI, say 175% to make my text bigger when I am reading articles online. However, when I go this high, it grows all the prompt boxes in other programs such as...
