Hi
I'm having a few problems finding settings because of the 3440 by 1440 resolution on my new monitor.
There was always a place to change the size of fonts used by Windows in it's applications. I can't find that.
If I have to I can use the slider to make everything larger but that makes some...

Everything was wider and bigger on the screen. I thought the resolution somehow changed but I changed that back to what I thought was the original 1366 x 738 and everything is not wide any more but everything is still large. The setting for "Change the size of text, apps..." is at 100% but...
So, I recently updated Windows and the resolution and scale has been completely messed up. I've tried changing the resolution in the settings and none of them work for me. Any more ideas??

In recent years, High-DPI displays have become common. Having a lot more pixels to display your application on seems like a simple recipe for crisper graphics but, counterintuitively, the opposite is often the case. Many applications were written without taking the DPI of displays into account...

As display technology has improved over time, the cutting edge has moved towards having more pixels packed into each physical square inch, and away from simply making displays physically larger. This trend has increased the dots per inch (DPI) of the displays on the market today. The Surface Pro...
My HP Pavilion DV7 was upgraded from Win7 to Win 10 and the Crystality graphics adjustment app is no longer available/working. The graphics chip is an ATI Radeon 4530 which is not supported (no driver) in Windows 10 by HP. The video all seems to work fine but I need to view the screen through...

Hello all,
I recently got a new Lenovo Y50-70 for Visual Effects and animation with Windows 10 as OS.
I never used Windows 10. As far as I know, all the software I installed are windows 10 compatible. However everything that isn't "windows" is facing scaling issues within the application that...

Is there any way to better resize text, apps, and other items all at once? When I go to Display Settings, I can only choose 100%, 125%, and 150%. I need to resize them to around 115%. I just know I'm overlooking something. I'm not interested in resizing just icons & folders just so you know. I...
I have a relatively simple problem which I just cannot resolve.
I have two monitors, one beside the other (in desktop extension, so that I have a wide desktop and can slide stuff seamlessly from one to the other). The first is 1920 x 1200, the other is 1920 x 1080. However, they are physically...

When you design your Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app, you're designing in effective pixels, not actual physical pixels. Using effective pixels lets your Universal Windows Platform app scale to different screen sizes. Watch this video to understand the concepts and then read the complete...

It seems that Microsoft can't just release an OS that works properly without some sort of tweaking to make it even remotely usable for any sort of advanced application. I switched over to Windows 10 Enterprise through a clean install I did last night and I've regretted it ever since.
I have a...

Hi
For as long as I can remember I've always set the slider for the size of type, icons etc, at 135%.
This has always given me a reasonable size display without things looking to big or having issues with things fitting in windows etc.
In the new version of Windows 10 the options on the slider...
